What does working with us look like?

Introduction
Considering you are here, I believe it is safe to assume you have a potential project in mind. This page is here to help you understand the process of working with Benni Construction LLC in hopes to see if you think we will be a good fit for you. We would love to help you with your project but we want you to be comfortable and happy during that process.

Initial Consult
This step would be when you make that first call, email or other form of contact asking us to help with your project. At this stage we will get a brief description on what it is you are looking to have done, what type of finish you would like and what type of time frame you are looking to have the project completed by. By what type of finish you want we are referring to; if it is a deck is it composite or wood, what type of railings? if it is an addition, what type of siding, match the house or accent, is it elevated or are we pouring a foundation? These are all things that are helpful to get off to a smooth start. None of these decisions are required before you contact us, however, the more Ideas you have, the faster the process can move. We are always willing to discuss some of the pros and cons of different materials or products to help you come to a decision if you want guidance.
-
Site visit
After the initial consult we will conduct a site visit. This allows us to get the best idea of what will go into a project so we can give you the most accurate estimate possible. The length of these site visits will depend on the scope of the project and we will need to do it during a time where one or more of the decision makers on the project are present. This allows us to effectively discuss options with minimal miscommunication. This is the stage of the project where you will be able to give us all your ideas that you have for the project and any concerns that you may have. The goal of this stage is to understand your vision and find the most effective way to make it happen.

Our services
After the site visit, this is when we begin to take over the process of bringing your vision to life. You will not have to worry about building plans, permits, material orders, inspections or any other aspect of the project. Once the project is started we will do everything we can to complete it in a time is of the essence manner. If your project requires an architect and/or engineer, Benni Construction LLC will handle obtaining those services. Once those plans are complete, we will send you those documents for your review. When you are satisfied that what the plans reflect is accurate to your vision, you will be provided a written agreement to read and sign that describes the scope of work and what is involved in the project. This will assure that all aspects of your project request are being met as well as what timelines, costs and safeguards are in place to protect you and your property. At any point throughout any stage of working with us, you are allowed and encouraged to ask questions to the project manager.
-
The work itself
When the project starts, there will be times where material deliveries, dumpsters, tools, equipment personnel etc. that will be on site. These things are all part of the process and at times may be an inconvenience. To the best of our ability we will try and keep these things as out of your way as much as possible. We ask however that during construction you stay off, out of or away from the active work area as much as possible. This is simply for safety reasons, this does not mean you can not look at the project at all we just ask that you be mindful that it is an active worksite with potential hazards until the contractor assures you otherwise. The contractor will communicate with you when and where the worksite will be deemed safe to enter.

Your Satisfaction
As the project begins to come together and the finishing touches start to show, we welcome your comments or concerns on any part of it. Our goal on the project is to have you be happy with the final result. If you have any comments or concerns you are encouraged to address them to the project manager so they do not go overlooked. Your satisfaction with the project is our main goal!
